Hi, I’m Britteny Black, founder of BareJoyy, certified life coach, certified event planner, and minister with an Associate’s degree in Ministry. I was born in Largo, Florida, and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia, with African American and Jamaican West Indian roots. My life has been shaped by faith, family, and lived experiences that continue to guide my purpose and the work I do today.

BareJoyy was not something I planned it was something I grew into through life, motherhood, and obedience.

In 2021, my son experienced a severe mosquito allergy reaction, and nothing I tried from the store seemed to help. In that moment of concern and prayer, I went into my kitchen and began creating my own botanical remedy. What started as a mother’s response to a need became a divine turning point that revealed a deeper calling on my life.

That moment gave birth to BareJoyy, a faith-rooted brand built around healing, confidence, and community.

BareJoyy Skincare was created from a mother’s love and a desire to support the body with intentional, natural care.

BareJoyy Apparel & Faith-centered Accessories is designed to help people feel confident, comfortable, and fully themselves while reflecting Christ-centered identity.

Rooted & Rising is a women’s empowerment space focused on healing, sisterhood, and personal growth through faith and shared support.

YOKED is a social experience built to foster intentional connection, meaningful relationships, and Christ-centered community.

Life’s a Latte is my storytelling platform sharing lessons on faith, motherhood, identity, healing, and becoming whole.

Barejoyy Life Coaching was created out of a deep desire to help people reclaim their joy, discover your ultimate purpose, and walk boldly into your true confidence. Life has a way of dimming our light, but this space is designed to help you shed those layers of doubt, find your joy again, and step fully into the abundant life God created for you.

At the center of everything I do is a simple mission: to help people feel seen, strengthened, and confident in who God created them to be.
